# Thank You Mentor Surgeons

On behalf of Ohana One, we want to thank all the incredible surgeons in the Ohana One Surgical Sight Smart glass program for their passion, dedication, and commitment to closing the surgical gap, one surgeon at a time.

#### **Plastic and Reconstructive**

**Dr. Andre Panossian** of Mending Kids who joined the Ohana One Surgical Sight Smart Glass Program (OOSSSGP) in 2020.

**Dr. Rod Hentz **from Stanford Medical Center, who guided his mentee surgeon through their first surgery in the Ohana One Surgical Sight Smart Glass program in August 2021.

**Dr. Gordon Lee** of ReSurge who recently joined the Ohana One Surgical Sight Smart Glass Program.

**Dr. Christopher Conner **of ReSurge who is currently in the onboarding process to become a mentor in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Damon Cooney** from Johns Hopkins University who is currently in the onboarding process to become a mentor in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Dana LaVanture** from Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA who is in the process of being onboarded as a mentor surgeon in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Dung Nguyen** from Stanford University who completed their first call in the OOSSSGP on October 29, 2021.

**Dr. Lori Howell **of ReSurge who completed their first call in the OOSSSGP on November 09, 2021. 

**Dr. John Grant** from Children’s of Alabama who has supported mentee surgeons through 5 surgeries during his short time in the OOSSSGP.

#### **General Surgery and Colorectal**

**Dr. Marc Levitt** Children’s National Hospital who joined the OOSSSGP in 2020.

**Dr. Jose Mosquera **of the Roberto Clemente Clinic in Baltimore, MD, USA who completed their first call in the OOSSSGP on October 29, 2021.

**Dr. Bryan Jack** who was recently onboarded into the OOSSSGP.  

#### **Neurology**

**Dr. Roger Hartl **from Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian who is a mentor to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP and has logged over 100 calls during his time in the program.

**Dr. Brandon Rocque **of FIENS who has supported their mentee surgeon through 7 pediatric neurology procedures during their time in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Mahmood Qureshi** from Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

#### **Urology**

**Dr. Andy Freedman** from Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

**Dr. Suzie Venn** from Western Sussex Hospitals Trust in Chichester, United Kingdom.

**Dr. Kurt McCammon **of IVU Med, mentor to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Graham Watson **of IVU Med, mentor to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Martin Kaefer** from Riley Children’s Hospital.

**Dr. Michael Chua** from Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Canada who is a mentor surgeon to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Kymora Scotland **from UCLA Medical Center who is currently in the process of being onboarded into the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Paddy Dewan** of KindKutsKids from PAD Enterprises in Victoria, Australia who is a mentor to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Frank Papanikolaou** from SickKids Toronto & Trillium Health Partner in Toronto, Canada who is currently being onboarded into the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Allen Chiura** from Parirenyatwa Teaching Hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe who is in the process of becoming a mentor in the OOSSSGP.

#### **Orthopedic**

**Dr. Mark Myerson **of Steps2Walk who is a mentor to three mentee surgeons in the OOSSSGP and has completed over 125 calls during his duration in the program.

**Dr. Gaston Slullitel** of Steps2Walk from Rosario, Argentina.

**Dr. Alireza Khosroabadi** from Cutting Edge Surgical Institute, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon currently in the process of being onboarded into the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Jennifer D’Amico** of HTC-SOCA from Charlotte Hungerford Hospital who is being onboarded into the OOSSSGP.

**Dr. Laurence Wicks** CURE Hospital, Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

**Dr.  Tim Nunn **from CURE Hospital, Ethiopia Addis in Ababa, Ethiopia who has guided their mentor surgeon through three complicated surgeries over the last few months.

**Dr. Maryse Bouchard **of Steps2Walk from Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Canada, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon mentor in the OOSSSGP.
